Evangel Christian School & Preschool exists to serve families of all
Bible-believing denominations as an alternative to government schools,
educating children 2 1/2 years of age through the 12th grade.
Evangel Christian School has a relatively low
student-to-teacher ratio. Our students typically score well above the national
average for their grade level as revealed by the annual standardized test
results.
Evangel
is a member of the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS) and the Virginia Council of Private Education (VCPE).
Evangel Christian is in the candidacy phase of accreditation, projected
accreditation is November 2008.
Evangel
students partake in activities such as sports, music and an annual science
fair. Our students enjoy field trips, holiday celebrations, and participation
in special events such as Grandparent’s Day and Thanksgiving Feast. Private
piano lessons are available during school hours for a fee.
